Pathway 2 Success, in conjunction with local resources and partnerships will utilize real estate assets to provide housing for veterans, ex-offenders, and those with disabilities. This will allow for sustainable programs that address the critical needs of our veterans, intercity youth, and ex-offenders. The goal is to build youth community leaders, who will serve as positive role models to their peers and develop leadership skills that will serve them in leading successful lives. By graduating, developing leadership skills, becoming positive role models among their peers, resisting negative peer pressure, setting and achieving personal, educational, and vocational goals, intercity youths and ex-offenders will indeed enhance the communities they live in. Further, with the addition of financial, social, and rehabilitative services, veterans and ex-offenders receive the added skills needed to prosper and become model citizens in their communities.
